Mission Statement

Mark Twain Elementary is a community of life-long learners, built upon a collaborative spirit that fosters inquiry-based learning. Our purpose is to promote and develop responsible, active, and reflective citizens of the world. 

 

IB Mission Statement  

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.

These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

 

Vision Statement

Mark Twain's  vision is to cultivate an enthusiastic and nurturing learning environment where every student is empowered to question, create, and discover. Through strong partnerships with our families and community, we will ensure that every child becomes a resilient and joyful lifelong learner.
